Can't post an mp3 because I actually purchased the files with legal monopoly tender via iTunes, but Lindstrøm, left, with Prins Thomas, is a joy to listen to, and has just a couple more days to crack into my Top 10 Albums of 2006 (he's already in the Top 20).
Read some reviews of It's A Feedelity Affair from the three e-heavyweights, and enjoy trawling for mp3s. (Your best bet is elbo.ws).
"...largely foregoes the multi-hued fragrancy and soft-rock glide of
Lindstrøm's recent work with Prins Thomas in favour of ostentatiously
astral motifs (particularly roaming, noodly synth solos) and more
pronounced dancefloor grooves, and it invites the conclusion that the
producer's strongest solo efforts are also his most tunnel-visioned."
"...is transcendentally moving and without contemporary peer. Forget about all
that "hippie-house" and "space-disco" nonsense—this is nothing more or
less than the musical equivalent of magical realism."
"...expertly builds atmosphere through hiccupping percussion and sparkling
fragments of melody so lush you could drown in them. This isn’t
academic or dry in any way, but you can’t fault the music for its craft
or its romantic and careless, declarative melody."
